On 23 December 2011, the day after the Christmas Celebration in Tanjungpnang, I led our Youth Committee : Kevin, Simon, Seanne, Yohanes and Crisna for a short retreat. Right after breakfast, we went to Pasar Raya 21 (which we called "XXI") for a simple shopping. Then we set off to Trikora Beach. We picked up a very spicy Melayu Nasi on the way to Trikora Beach. As we arrived, our hearts were filled with joy looking at God's wonderful creation. We enjoyed swimming in the wave and took some pictures. The otak-otak that we bought on the way tasted good. After swimming at Trikora beach, we then set off to Cabana Resort. Again, we had another swim. While swimming, some of the teens were fascinated at some handsome guys from China.
We had a very great dinner afterwards continued by a great meeting time discussing our program and plan for the upcoming Camp in June 2012. The next day, we enjoyed wonderful breakfasts in the restaurant accompanied by a heavy downpour. I believed it was a great moment for the youth leaders to had such a wonderful moment for meeting and discussion. Well, they should be awarded for their hard work all this time in the ministry. May our Lord bless them and keep them.
