UP (2009) is one of my favorite cartoon movies. I love the music by Michael Giacchino, it is very heart warming. The animation is fantastic and the story is very inspiring. It teaches about relationship and detachment. The story poignantly portrays the life of Carl Fredricksen, his dream, his friendship and his marriage. It also portrays the deep hurt Fredricksen experiences after the death of his wife. And the turning point of his life occurs when he meets the school boy – Russell. You should watch how Russell’s simple life is impacting the life of Fredricksen. And you should reflect on how Fredricksen learn detachment. I rate this as a MUST WATCH family cartoon movie!
