ACT OF VALOR (2012) adalah sebuah film yang memaparkan kehidupan NAVY SEALS. Sutradara, Mike MacCoy memilih untuk menggabungkan aktor dengan anggota NAVY SEALS untuk memberikan hasil terbaik dalam film ini. Perlengkapan senjata terbaru digunakan di dalam film ini. Bahkan di sebagian "scenes", peluru asli digunakan untuk memberikan hasil yang lebih "real". Strategi dan taktik nyata NAVY SEALS digunakan selama 'shooting".
Film ini melukiskan cara NAVY SEALS menjalani tugas atau "operation". Teknik nyata dipadukan dengan alur cerita. The Act of Valor selain mendemonstrasi potensi ancaman zaman ini juga mengekspresikan loyalitas dan komitmen anggota NAVY SEALS di dalam tugas dan panggilan, keluarga dan kolegalitas.
