It is amazing. The drama script was written within a day, being practiced for thrice and out for performance. This is the result of the commitment, willingness and readiness of the teenagers. Sarah Byuti (as mom) and Brenda (as daughter named Shuang Xi) who hate dancing but had to dance in the drama. Kharis, Nicky, Ellen, Yohanes, William, Vera, Hendry had to perform embarrassing chicken dance. Their creativity and courage was much appreciated and worth receiving medals.
Ryan (as Chicken Seller) performed really well especially his way of mimicking the local dialect.His joy and comedy character in doing the chicken dance was great and invited much applause. Denny, the honest guy performed his grandpa character greatly. He coloured his hair white using powder. And Simon acted the childish father using his cute accent winning many girls' hearts. The fashion show at pasar penuin was creatively performed. Brenda walked confidently in her nice brown dress. Ellen in her red shirt brought vegetables with her was walking in a dancing motion. Sherly carried pink feather fan and performed some cute gestures. Yohanes walked very confidently wearing his pink shirt. William gave a very fantastic performance, wearing sunglasses, carrying two mobile phones pretending taking photos of himself simultaneously. And Nicky in his Michael Jackson hat performed moonwalk also attracted much applause. The audience were greatly amused. The fashion show was accompanied by a narrator with a very nice voice. Guess whom? Seanne. She really had a very great voice. We should consider inviting her for singing performance someday.
Crisna's dance also invited much applause. She is a great street dancer. I must give thanks to Kristo as well. He is very helpful in preparing microphones, soundsystem as well as seriously concentrated on playing the music during the practice and performance. Last but not least, Eunike and Jolies Dicky played very important roles during the preparation period. They helped out in suggesting, searching and providing music needed in the drama. Without a solid teamwork, this drama would not have been succeeded. Thank you friends!
