CHINESE NEW YEAR DRAMA 2013

What should I write for this Chinese New Year Drama? I was thinking of this during my one hour Batam - Tanjungpinang journey. Finally, I thought of presenting a drama entitled BCS. Again, the script was written in a hurry... phew.. There were two friends named Potong Lembu (Yohanes) and Bakar Batu (Crisna) visiting Batam for Chinese New Year. As both of them approaching the harbour, two ticket-salespersons (Amelia & Herphin) were shouting their Vessel names calling them to purchase their tickets. One shouts "Lamala" whilst the other shouts "Pergilah" which was eventually edited by Yohanes to "Barunaik" which I find quite interesting (I call it great editing). Before departing they had to meet a very interesting boy (Christnando). His acting was really very funny. This year, most interesting parts focus more on their acting skills, which is really very challenging.

Nagoya (Sisilia) whom just returned from Singapore wanted to go shopping at BCS (Batam City Square) while her friend Jodoh (Nana) preferred going to Kepri Mall. Batu Aji (Aviel) also wanted to go to BCS. Jodoh was puzzled why everyone preferred BCS. Upon the arrival of Potong Lembu and Bakar Batu, Potong Lembu explains that BCS is known for its sexy ladies as its stands for "Banyak Cewek Seksi" meaning lots of sexy ladies.

Another scene acted by Christnando and Daniel demonstrates how bad and inconsiderate some Batamese choose to park their cars. Another scene portrayed how competitive shops are in Batam. Pirated DVD seller (Herphin) presents his wonderful acting. This time, he no longer acts as pretty lady as this role as been assigned to Howard (I was surprised that he is willing to take the role). His mom even bought him a wig. I love Herphin's way of saying "Achak... Achak... Achak...).

Sherly, Karren and Ryan act as shopper confidently. Unfortunatly, Jane who can act very well cannot continue her act since she is not in Batam on that particular day. However, Sherly, Karren and Ryan's willing to act as shoppers are indeed great help.  I believe the way they walk and smile adds joy to the audience. Howard looks really pretty in his wig. He is really very confident in playing his role. He will bring much smile to everyone present. In fact, I do not intend for this scene, however since, most teenagers want it and Howard himself willing to play the role, I am more than happy to fit in.

Then the dress-seller (Ina) has a very sweet voice. The way she acts surprises me. She is really very confident and play her role lively. Then the pirated-game seller (Amelia) presents her pirated games so encouragingly, attracting buyers to buy her games. The book-seller (Hanna) is another breakthrough. She can speak so fast that surprises everyone on the scene.

The drama presents that BCS is not Banyak Cewek Seksi, nor Bini Cari Suami, Batam Cari Sensasi but it is Believe in Christ's Salvation.
